Run City Liverpool

The Mersey 2008 Mersey Tunnel 2008 was a huge success. Here’s a comment from one of Run City Liverpool’s members:

Hello folks.

A great course I thought. Did the Queensway tunnel 10k some years back, I think it was it’s 60th anniversary so must’ve been 1994 – so had to do this one to complete the set – assuming they’re not going to have us running through the railway tunnel, I mean you’d go over on your ankle with all those sleepers.

The 22nd staging of this very popular event will be on Sunday, 11th May 2008. With the new 5K run getting off to a great start it will complement the Bully Busters 1 mile Fun Run creating a truly family day out.

The course worked well last year and with the start and finish on the Review Field, the spectator levels were up, adding to a fantastic atmosphere.

A great event for experienced runners and novices alike.
