Knowsley Active Challenge Sunday 18th May
3 Events in one Day!
Motivation is the key to success – and if your resolution is to get fit and be more active then Knowsley Council has just the incentive for you.
Once again competitors both young and old are being sought to take up the mantle and compete in the Borough’s All New Active Knowsley Challenge and the 3rd Junior Challenge – a run/Walk with a difference, plus for the 2nd year, we have our guided walk starting at 9.30am which is free to enter is open to all ages, and takes in, in my opinion, the most scenic parts of the grounds of Knowsley Hall
Taking place in the scenic grounds of Knowsley Hall, this year’s Active Challenges on Sunday, May 18th, at 11am, with teams of runners (or walkers) invited to take part. The five kilometer challenge is aimed at groups of colleagues from organisations businesses, and KMBC Departments, but teams of friends or family are also welcomed. Participants can also choose to be sponsored, enabling them to raise money for the worthy cause of their choice.
Organised by Knowsley Council’s Department of Neighbourhood Delivery in partnership with Knowsley Primary Care Trust.
Entries for the Adult Run/Walk will be accepted from teams of four, which must include at least one woman. The closing date for entries is Friday 9th May 2008. Contact Steve Guy in Knowsley’s events team on 0151 443 2153. or E-mail steve.guy@knowsley.gov.uk
