BIG HEART 5K – Sunday June 29th 2008
A new 5K fun run was launched at the Everton v Sunderland game on Saturday 24th November 2007 in memory of Alan Ball. The Big Heart 5K will also receive support from across the park with Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish getting involved along with The Marina Dalglish Appeal. Evertonians will be helping raise awareness and money for H E A R T UK and the Everton Charitable Trust.
A 5K course is being considered around Stanley Park with Evertonians and Liverpudlians running together in their famous shirts (provided as part of the entry fee) featuring the blue number 8 or the red number 7.
